May 23, 2012 · I received my Surface Pro 3 a few days ago and i am loving it so far. The only thing that bugs me is the fan noise. I've been monitoring temps and have found the fan spinning with CPU temps as low as 45c. As this is totally unnecessary, i have been searching for a piece of software to control the fan. I have not found one that works yet.

On a 2013 11″ Macbook Air I can manage enough to use it as a decent hub for live ambient music using hardware synths to off load some of the processing.
